Mom2Mom
PRODUCT DESIGN FOR DONATION SECOND HAND CLOTHES & TOYS APP
BY GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
INTENDED FOR MOTHERS
The project was created during my UX studies at “OnCourse”
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our children's needs are changing rapidly. Receiving or donating second-hand items helps lower the cost of living, reduces environmentally harmful production, cleans objects that no longer serve our child, and makes us feel that we have done something good.
When an environment is focused on collaboration, community members naturally feel a part of something bigger than themselves.

SUMMARY
Mom2Mom is an app designed to help connect moms who want to donate their children's unused clothing and toys or receive a donation, around their area based on their location.
In a simple and easy way.
RESEARCH
I started the research with understanding the context, who the target audience, age, culture, technological level, complexity, etc.
Did some competitor research to see other similar products offer. I thought about some product use cases, came to conclusions and wrote the important notes.
FINDING THE PROBLEM
While doing research, I realised that there are not many apps that help you donate unused baby and child items based on your location.
Another problem I had in mind, was how to motivate and encourage mothers to donate items of their children who are no longer in use.
GOAL
My goal was to enable moms easily and effectively make a donation of items based on their location. While giving an end to end support during the process - by simple steps.
By that - create a collaborative community of mothers, with similar worldview in the
same living area.
SOLUTION
- Encourage contributions by accumulating points for each donation you contribute.
mom2mom user's points will be converted into purchases.
- Give more value to mothers by custom content such as articles, blogs, child development etc.
